February 2017
Arriva North East
From 19th February 2017, Arriva North East will be making some revisions to its services in Stockton, Middlesbrough and East Cleveland. As part of these changes, "Sapphire" service 5A will be curtailed in Skelton and will no longer serve Skelton ASDA or Brotton. The revised terminus will be a clockwise loop of Hollybush Estate in Skelton, with buses returning back to Middlesbrough up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes. This has resulted in a PVR reduction of the "Sapphire" 5/5A services and as such, this vehicle, which was previously used as a spare vehicle for "Sapphire" services 5/5A in the event of a Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid being unavailable for service, has transferred to Jesmond Depot.
