This vehicle, which was previously with Arriva London as fleet number VLW105, has been acquired by Arriva North East. This vehicle is currently being converted to single-door configuration, as well as being repainted and refurbished to "MAX" specification at Thornton Brothers, Ashington. It is thought that this vehicle, amongst others, will be allocated to Ashington Depot, to upgrade service X20 (Newcastle - Alnwick) to "MAX" specification.
