This vehicle has transferred from Arriva North East's Redcar Depot to Arriva Yorkshire's Selby Depot. It is believed to be a temporary trial, to evaluate suitability, and has been exchanged with Arriva Yorkshire's Volvo B9TL/Darwen Olympus 1808 (YJ08 EEM).

As part of Nexus' £350m Metro 'all change' modernisation programme, there are no trains running between Tynemouth and Shiremoor in either direction from 19th March until 2nd April, to allow for track replacement work. 8.7 kilometres of 50-year-old-tracks and track beds between Tynemouth and Shiremoor are being replaced so that the new track will last 50 years more. This vehicle has transferred from Blyth Depot to Jesmond, for use on the Metro Replacement bus service.

Between Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, Arriva will be running service W0W from Ashington Bus Station to Woodhorn Museum for the Weekend of Wonder. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Belmont Depot to Ashington. It is thought that this vehicle will remain in service beyond the Weekend of Wonder, providing Ashington Depot with an additional spare vehicle whilst some of Ashington's fleet are VOR.
