In order to standardise the Arriva North East and Arriva Yorkshire double-deck fleets, an exchange of Wright Eclipse Geminis is taking place. Arriva North East will lose their Volvo B5 Hybrid vehicles following the end of their Volvo maintenance contract, in exchange for more-familiar VDL DB300 examples. This vehicle, previously with Arriva Yorkshire as their fleet number 1525, has now joined the Arriva North East fleet, where it has been allocated fleet number 7628.
