Following the use of 3822 (S822 OFT) on a small excursion hosted by Go North East on 31st December 2016 to commemorate the ending of mainstream Olympian operation, allowing enthusiasts to ride a Volvo Olympian one last time, and take some final photographs of the type at locations commonly served by the type in the lead up to its withdrawal from the fleet, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Stanley Depot, as it does not conform to PSVAR / DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) requirements.

This vehicle has received "Coaster" branding for service 1 (Gateshead - Newcastle - Byker - Wallsend - Whitley Bay).
March 2007 Go North East
Following the withdrawal of the 775 service (Sunderland - Consett) and the restructure of the routes along this corridor, this vehicle has received "Lime" branding, featuring the tagline "cross county connection".

Go North East recently confirmed details in trade press magazine, Route One, of its £10m investment for the 2015/16 financial year. Long-distance services 20/20A, branded as "Prince Bishops", are set to be upgraded in May 2016, with 22 brand new Wright Streetlite vehicles. This vehicle has transferred from Riverside's Driver Training fleet to Chester-le-Street Depot's Coaching Unit. It will act as an additional spare vehicle, in a plain white base livery.
