To provide Riverside Depot with extra low-floor double-deck vehicles for the duration of the Metro Replacement contract, this vehicle has transferred from Stanley Depot to Riverside, in exchange for a step-entrance Volvo Olympian from Riverside. A two-phase Major Line Closure will take place between Monday 31st July and Saturday 2nd September 2017 to allow for work at Northumberland Park station and track and bridge renewal work which forms part of the £350m Metro: all change modernisation programme.

This vehicle has transferred from Stanley Depot to Chester-le-Street, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages.
December 2016 Go North East
Originally added to commemorate the company's centenary year in 2013, this vehicle has had its 'Northern' fleet names stripped. Most vehicles in the fleet which retained these fleet names had them stripped over the summer months ahead of the introduction of a new company corporate livery, but this example wasn't stripped having originally been planned to undergo repaint.

Having received a partial front end pink repaint in September 2007, this vehicle has now received a full plain pink base livery repaint and has also been fitted with LED destination displays.

This vehicle has received "Ferrylink" branding, for Nexus-secured service 333 which operates between North Shields Ferry Terminal, North Shields Town Centre, Royal Quays, and the North Shields Fish Quay.

After 11 months of the experimental OK1 service operating; Go North East extended the service from Darlington to Middlesbrough, providing a direct bus link from the Wear Valley area, and to attract new users. This vehicle, which carries a plain red base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. It will be transferred to Deptford Depot in due course.
