Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Percy Main Depot. Dependent on the availability of spare parts from withdrawn Dennis Tridents due to be sold for scrap, it is subject to being reinstated, though it is planned to be permanently replaced later this year pending the arrival of a further cascaded Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka from Brighton & Hove, which will reduce the number of different vehicle types and standardise the fleet at Percy Main. Until its permanent replacement enters service, it is likely to be temporarily replaced by a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President surplus to requirements at Stanley from 21st May.

This vehicle has received "DFDS Seaways" branding, for the 327 service operating between Newcastle City Centre and the International Ferry Terminal at North Shields, to connect with the DFDS Ferry to Ijmuiden for onward travel to Amsterdam. Each bus branded for the "DFDS Seaways" 327 service will feature different taglines on the uniquely coloured two-tone base livery. This example features the tagline "Your Gateway to Europe" on the nearside, and "Book Your Ferry Getaway" on the offside.
