To assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements over Bank Holiday weekend, which will see Go North East operating shuttle services for the Tall Ships event in Blyth, Cruise Ships, Kynren and the Soccerbus X50, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Chester-le-Street. It should be used to release a double-deck vehicle for use in the Blyth Tall Ships event.

Prior to new branding being launched; this vehicle has been repainted into a plain white base livery, providing spare coverage in the event of a branded vehicle being unavailable for service.

Armed with a pair of scissors and dressed in his very own bus driver uniform; 11-year-old schoolboy Peter Witham landed his dream job thanks to a heart-felt letter to Go North East's Managing Director, and cut the ribbon at a publicity launch at Crimdon Dene to declare the 14 brand new indiGo buses officially open for business.
