July 2020 Go North East Due to the loss of Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts from September 2020, this vehicle has been permanently withdrawn from service.
June 2020 Go North East From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
March 2020 Go North East Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there is falling customer demand and available resources. Therefore, to ensure operations are as efficient as possible, Saltmeadows Road has been temporarily 'mothballed' as an operational depot, with the scholars services instead operating out of Riverside. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside.
January 2020 Go North East In order to isolate dual-door configuration buses at Saltmeadows, where they should only be allocated to Nexus Miscellaneous Works services, the scholars contracts at Riverside will now instead be operated from Saltmeadows. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Saltmeadows.
September 2018 Go North East Photograph by Following changes to Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts, which has seen Go North East being awarded with over 70 contracts for the 2018/19 academic year, this vehicle has been formally allocated to Riverside Depot. The Special Events Fleet, in which this vehicle was previously allocated, now only comprises of three coaches, which still remain available for Private Hire and rail replacement contracts.
July 2018 Go North East Following temporary loan to Chester-le-Street Depot, this vehicle has been returned to Riverside Depot's Special Events Fleet.

April 2018 Go North East Following the completion of the majority of internal repaint and re-trims on the former Brighton & Hove Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka vehicles at Stanley, this vehicle has been returned to Riverside Depot's Special Events Fleet.
January 2018 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from the Special Events Fleet at Riverside Depot to Stanley, on temporary loan, to provide a replacement vehicle in Stanley's fleet whilst their own double-deck vehicles undergo internal repaint and re-trim to improve the internal quality standard on these vehicles.
December 2017 Go North East In line with Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties Palatine 2 3832 (S832 OFT) returning to service following gearbox repairs, this vehicle has returned to the Special Events and Private Hire fleet at Riverside.
December 2017 Go North East This vehicle has been formally allocated to Riverside Depot, on temporary loan, to be allocated to the private Jewish Scholars Contract services 850/851, due to Volvo Olympian/Northern Counties Palatine 2 3832 (S832 OFT) being off service for a faulty gearbox.

October 2017 Go North East Following the cascade of the former "Tyne Tees Xpress" branded Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs after the Masters Golf event, this vehicle has moved into a newly-formed Special Events and Private Hire fleet. This Special Events fleet comprises of various coaches and double-deck buses: these should not be allocated to public services, but will be brought into service to operate Park & Ride contracts, shuttle services, and other services associated with special events. These vehicles also remain available for Private Hire.

December 2015 Go North East Having previously carried 'Northern' fleet names, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery.
February 2014 Go North East Photograph by Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.
November 2009 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has gained "Angel" branding and has entered service at Chester-le-Street Depot.
September 2009 Go North East Previously with Go-Ahead London General as fleet number EVL39, this vehicle has been acquired by Go North East and allocated fleet number 3970. It is currently at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, undergoing a pink repaint and full refurbishment.
