Following the loss of Miscellaneous Works and scholars contracts, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street. Though originally expected to be withdrawn from 3rd September 2017; this vehicle will instead be retained until after the Great North Run, to assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements for this event (up to an additional 90 buses).

Following temporary loan to Riverside Depot, this vehicle has returned to service at Deptford.

To assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements over Bank Holiday weekend, which will see Go North East operating shuttle services for the Tall Ships event in Blyth, Cruise Ships, Kynren and the Soccerbus X50, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside, on temporary loan, providing the latter depot with a further double-deck vehicle.

Previously with Go-Ahead London General as fleet number EVL51, this vehicle has been acquired by Go North East and allocated fleet number 3982. It is currently at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, undergoing a pink repaint and full refurbishment.

After 11 months of the experimental OK1 service operating; Go North East extended the service from Darlington to Middlesbrough, providing a direct bus link from the Wear Valley area, and to attract new users. Having sustained defects uneconomical to repair in readiness for the vehicle's annual PSV test, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Washington Depot, and will be sold for scrap.
