March 2007 Go North East Photograph by To ease congestion on the Tyne crossings, Go North East will operate a non-stop Park & Ride service between Newcastle City Centre and the Metrocentre Coach Park from 26th March 2007 in partnership with Metrocentre, Nexus and Gateshead Council. The service will run non-stop into Newcastle City Centre in under 10 minutes using the CentreLink bus priority road. It will stop on Dean Street, Market Street, Grainger Street and at Central Station for easy access to most parts of the City Centre. Buses will depart every 15 minutes at peak times on Mondays to Fridays. This vehicle has been repainted into a pale blue base livery and has received dedicated "Park & Ride" branding, to operate this service.
