To ease congestion on the Tyne crossings, Go North East will operate a non-stop Park & Ride service between Newcastle City Centre and the Metrocentre Coach Park from 26th March 2007 in partnership with Metrocentre, Nexus and Gateshead Council. The service will run non-stop into Newcastle City Centre in under 10 minutes using the CentreLink bus priority road. It will stop on Dean Street, Market Street, Grainger Street and at Central Station for easy access to most parts of the City Centre. Buses will depart every 15 minutes at peak times on Mondays to Fridays. This vehicle has been repainted into a pale blue base livery and has received dedicated "Park & Ride" branding, to operate this service.

This vehicle, which carries a light red base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. In line with the entry into service of new Wright Streetlites on services 2/2A; this vehicle, which was previously allocated to these services and branded as "SimpliCity", has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery. This example carries the tagline "Recharge your batteries | Many of our buses have power sockets on board"
