This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot, as a result of the temporary allocation of "Toon Link" branded Scania OmniCity vehicles on the "Green Arrow" 97 route.

In order to eliminate flipdot displays from the Go North East fleet, spare LED displays removed from scrap vehicles are being used to replace the old flipdot displays. As such, this vehicle has now been fitted with a side LED display.

This vehicle has received "Green Arrow" branding, with sub-branding for services 97/97A (Newcastle - Metrocentre). The new "Green Arrow" brand replaces the current branding on "The Highwayman" services 97/98, coinciding with service changes which will take place at the end of October.

Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.
