December 2018 Go North East This vehicle has been sold for scrap to Alpha Recovery, Weetslade.
September 2018 Go North East This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Chester-le-Street Depot.
June 2018 Go North East Following temporary loan to Crook Depot, this vehicle has now returned to service at Chester-le-Street.
May 2018 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Crook, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages.
March 2018 Go North East This vehicle previously held a temporary reserve role in the fleet at Riverside Depot following vehicle re-allocations, pending the award of Nexus contracts effective 18th March 2018. It has now returned to full service, transferring from Riverside Depot to Chester-le-Street in the process. Go North East has retained many of the contracts they already operated, with the contracts for services W2 (Whitley Bay - Brierdene) and K3 (Forest Hall - Four Lane Ends - Freeman Hospital) also being awarded to Go North East. Pending delivery of new minibus vehicles in June; there is a current shortage of minibus vehicles to operate these contracts, and a number of temporary service and vehicle allocations need to take place.
February 2018 Go North East Following the cascade of Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro 5324 (NK58 DWA) to Riverside, this vehicle has entered a reserve role in the fleet at Riverside Depot. 5324 (NK58 DWA) has transferred into the fleet to ensure that the premium features such as free Wi-Fi, 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcements and USB charging points advertised on "The Blaydon Racer" services 12/12A, "The Crusader" services 26/27 and "Citylink" service 57 are consistently made available to passengers, which was originally intended to allow this vehicle to be earmarked for withdrawal from service. However, as Go North East are bidding for a number of minibus contracts, effective 18th March 2018, it will be retained temporarily pending the award of these contracts.
January 2018 Go North East In order to eliminate flipdot displays from the Go North East fleet, spare LED displays removed from scrap vehicles are being used to replace the old flipdot displays. As such, this vehicle has now been fitted with a side LED display.
September 2017 Go North East Following the entry into service of refurbished Mercedes Citaros on "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85, this vehicle has transferred to Riverside Depot.
July 2017 Go North East The Metrocentre Shuttle S1 service was withdrawn from Sunday 23rd July and replaced by an extended X66 service on a lower frequency. Until the service was withdrawn, VDL SB120/Wright Merit 8266 (NK04 ZNE) was temporarily replaced by a cascaded Optare Versa from Deptford, originally due to transfer to operate services 67 (Metrocentre - Wardley) and 69 (Winlaton - Wardley). This Optare Versa has now cascaded to services 67/69; releasing this vehicle to transfer to Hexham, which should be allocated to "Tynedalexpress" service X85 which has been extended from Hexham to Newbrough, hence increasing the PVR of the service, to offer new cross-town connections.
