Vehicle History

June 2020 Go North East Driver Training buses have been fitted with extra tables and re-deployed at depots as bait buses to allow better social distancing during drivers' breaks. This vehicle has therefore been reinstated at Percy Main Depot.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
September 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has now received "Join the Team!" branding; which showcases some of the benefits of joining the company and training at the Team GNE Academy, such as free travel benefits, free uniform, and high-street retailer discounts.
July 2018 Go North East Photograph by In order to improve the appearance of the Driver Training fleet, the entire batch of Scania L94s are to undergo repaint. Having previously carried a plain red base livery, this vehicle has now received a plain blue livery. It is intended for the batch to have branding fitted in the future, showcasing some of the benefits of joining "Team GNE" thereby acting as a mobile advertisement for the company's recruitment programme.
April 2017 Go North East Photograph by Following the completion of modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, this vehicle has returned to service within Riverside's Driver Training fleet.
April 2017 Go North East Following the cascade of Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 4946 (NK51 OLM) and 4954 (NL02 ZRX) from Deptford Depot to Percy Main, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Percy Main and is currently receiving modifications at Thorntons Brothers, Ashington, ahead of impending cascade to the Driver Training fleet.
December 2016 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Percy Main. At Percy Main; this vehicle will allow for the disposal of a Volvo B10BLE/Wright Renown vehicle, presently allocated to Miscellaneous Works services on weekdays and acting as a primary spare vehicle for "Blue Arrow" service 11 on Saturdays.
November 2016 Go North East Service changes taking place on Sunday 6th November 2016 saw the operation of service 9 (Sunderland - North Shields) transfer from Percy Main Depot to Deptford, and this vehicle has hence transferred from Percy Main Depot to Deptford in line with the operation of the service.
October 2016 Go North East Following the transfer of Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro 5324 (NK58 DWA) from Riverside Depot to Washington to provide a dedicated spare vehicle for "Connections4" service 4, this vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Percy Main. It serves as a replacement for Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3859 (W859 PNL) which was withdrawn from Percy Main Depot earlier this year having suffered fire damage, and provides the depot with an additional spare Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicle for "Blue Arrow" service 11, should a branded vehicle be unavailable.

April 2019 Go North East In line with the operation of "Toon Link" services 6 and X31 transferring from Stanley Depot to Riverside, this vehicle has also transferred to Riverside.
April 2018 Go North East This vehicle has been reinstated at Hexham Depot, to operate the seasonal Hadrian's Wall Country Bus AD122 service.
April 2020 Go North East In order to combat the changing demand for bus services in the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Consett.
April 2017 Go North East Presently unbranded; this vehicle has returned to service at Riverside Depot, where it will see allocation to "Citylink" service 57.
