From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.

It is required at Deptford following service revisions effective 28th January 2018, which saw the vehicle allocation for "See it, Do it, Sunderland" services 35/35A revised to be Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles.

Though originally intended to return to service at Chester-le-Street on 9th August 2017, the diversion route continued on until this day due to the works on the Washington Highway being continued into this day. As such, a day later than expected, this vehicle has now returned to service at Chester-le-Street, with the "Red Arrows" X1 service returning to the route it usually operates.

This vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Washington. Released from Chester-le-Street following the temporary transfer of four "Red Arrows" branded Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs to operate services 13/X25; the temporary transfer of this vehicle to Washington coincides with a short notice road closure by Sunderland City Council, which means that northbound buses on "Red Arrows" service X1 are unable to run direct along the Washington Highway on 7th and 8th August 2017, and will need to be diverted along Bonemill Lane, via Fatfield Bridge and Station Road to Shiney Row. Due to the low bridge in the area, double-deck vehicles cannot be allocated to the X1 service during this time.

Following the entry into service of the refurbished Mercedes Citaros on "Wear Xpress" service X5, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street. From Sunday 19th March 2017; Go North East will introduce an improved 30-minute frequency to service 13 on Monday to Saturday daytimes, and it will interwork with services 14 and X25. The revised PVR will be 10, and 8 of the vehicles allocated will be single-deck Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles, which are more reliable and will reduce fuel and maintenance costs.

This vehicle has been treated to a partial repaint into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. It is thought that further vinyls will be added at a later date, in order to reflect the quality and customer values of Go North East.
