Having previously been branded as "Loop", this vehicle has been repainted into a plain black base livery, ahead of the branding on "Loop" services 93/94 being re-launched.

Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.

Following repaint last year, this vehicle has received "The Gateshead Loop" branding, for services 93/94, which operate circular services clockwise and anti-clockwise around Gateshead, Team Valley, Low Fell, QE Hospital and Heworth.

In line with the operation of "See it, Do it, Sunderland" service 36 transferring from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street, this vehicle has also transferred to Chester-le-Street. Having incurred defects uneconomical to repair, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot. The X36 service, which operates on an hourly frequency between Sunderland and Newcastle via the North Sunderland estates and The Boldons, is planned to be withdrawn from Sunday 23rd July 2017, and with this would have come the withdrawal of both of the Dennis MPDs allocated to this... see more
