Go North East
Following withdrawal; this vehicle has been sold to East Yorkshire, where it now carries fleet number 9921. Scania OmniCitys 5234 - 5237 are all in line to transfer to East Yorkshire; the quintet of Scanias are expected to form part of East Yorkshire's Driver Training fleet, replacing life-expired short-wheelbase Volvo B7TLs currently in this capacity. The allocation of full-size single-decks is not only expected to modernise the East Yorkshire Driver Training fleet, but also improve driving standards, as it is more difficult to navigate a full-size single-deck than a short wheelbase double-deck vehicle.
