Having previously carried sub-branding for services X30/X31 (Stanley - Newcastle); this vehicle has had these vinyls stripped and new vinyls added, sporting the taglines "For city centre shops and leisure" and "Frequent buses to Newcastle".

This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Stanley, where it will see allocation to the revised "Toon Link" X30/X31 services.

Upcoming service changes will see services X30/X31 and new peak-time service X32 introduced to the "Toon Link" brand, and service 11 removed from the existing "Toon Link" brand. This vehicle, which carries a red base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Once prepared for service, it is expected that the vehicle will transfer to Stanley Depot.

Following the entry into service of brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs on "Tyne Tees Xpress" services X9/X10, this vehicle has been repainted into a silver base livery, and transferred from Gateshead Depot to Winlaton. The vehicle will act as a spare, when the "TEN" group of services is converted to double-deck operation.

As part of a re-branding scheme for the "Cobalt Clipper" 309/310 services, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain silver base livery.

This vehicle has entered service at Washington Depot on "indiGo" services 82, 82A, 82B and 83. To maximise the amount of mileage operated by these fuel-efficient vehicles which are eligible for an enhanced rate of BSOG payment, it will also be allocated to services 85 and 86 on evenings and Sundays.
