Its cant rail and rear boot lid sub-branding for services 26/27 has now been stripped. From Monday 7 September 2020, Go North East will be operating some extra duplicate services on behalf of Stagecoach North East on their services, to aid social distancing around the time of school movements, on their commercial services.

Go North East
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a light grey base livery. Service changes taking place from 28th January 2018 will see the introduction of a new 26 service to "The Crusader" brand: there will be more journeys to Newcastle, with buses between Newcastle and Jarrow now running up to every 10 minutes on Monday-Saturday daytimes, and every 15 minutes on Sunday daytimes. Between Jarrow and South Shields, journeys will run every 20 minutes as service 27 on the current route via Tyne Dock, and every 20 minutes as service 26 via Primrose, South Leam and South Tyneside Hospital, replacing this section of services 88 and 88A. This offers new direct connections to Newcastle from areas such as York Avenue, Primrose and South Leam. As such this will see the requirement for 5 additional vehicles to be introduced to "The Crusader" brand, of which this vehicle is one. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Riverside Depot.
