This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a light grey base livery. The shade of paint is a different colour to the silver previously used on "The Crusader" service 27, with the company moving away from metallic paint colours in favour of standard solid colours, which are easier to maintain and colour-match when panels are damaged and need to be changed. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Riverside Depot.

This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.

Following recent service changes which saw the PVR of the "Citylink" 57 service rise by three vehicles, this vehicle has received "Citylink" branding.
July 2016 Go North East
Having previously carried a plain silver base livery, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain blue base livery. There are a number of changes to Go North East's services in the Gateshead and surrounding areas, from 24th July 2016. "Citylink" service 58 will be revised to operate every 12 minutes between Heworth and Newcastle only. To maintain the link between Newcastle and Hadrian Park, "Citylink" service 57 will be extended from Newcastle to Hadrian Park, on the same route and frequency as the current "Citylink" 58 service.

As a result of service revisions at Deptford Depot and the change in allocation to some of Deptford's services, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside. It will act as an additional spare vehicle for "Crusader" service 27, "Blaydon Racers" service 49 and "Citylink" service 57.

Since the withdrawal of Oxfordshire County Council subsidies on 20th July 2016, Thames Travel has been operating the Bicester Town bus services 22 and 23 on a commercial basis. Following the end of the Springwell Road shuttle service, this vehicle remains in use and has transferred from Riverside Depot to Percy Main, providing an additional spare vehicle while some of Percy Main's dual-door Wright Renown bodied Volvo B10BLEs undergo DDA modifications.

This vehicle has received modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, and as such is now DDA-compliant. This means that this vehicle does not need to be withdrawn from service prior to 1 January 2016 (like all other non-DDA compliant single deckers).
