month, in order to allow the company to claim a tax refund.

This vehicle has now entered service at Riverside Depot on "X66 Metrocentre" service X66.

Prior to entering service, this vehicle has gained "X66 Metrocentre" branding. The Metrognomes are intu Metrocentre's very own cuddle gnome characters: Herbert, Sherbet, Maggot and Rusty. As part of the new branding, each bus has received one of the four Metrognomes on the front of the bus. This example features Rusty, who has a bright red beard and looks after the Red Mall at intu Metrocentre.

This vehicle, which carries a dark blue base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Once prepared for service, it is expected to be allocated to Riverside Depot, for use on service X66 (Gateshead - Metrocentre). It is the Micro-Hybrid version of the Wright Streetlite, which is 11.5m in length. The Micro Hybrid recovers energy lost from braking to power the vehicle electrics and compressed air systems, saving up to 10% in fuel costs. Representing an investment of approximately £650,000, this vehicle features full white LED destination displays and e-leather seating.
