Based on the results of the new cant rail design trialled on Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid 5432 (NK16 BYP); this vehicle has been fitted with the same cant rail design, with the view of using a similar design on other branded vehicles too.

This vehicle, which carries a purple base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Representing an investment of approximately £3.7m, this batch of vehicles are believed to be in line to upgrade "Prince Bishops" services 20/20A/X20. This batch of vehicles are fitted with free customer Wi-Fi, three-pin power sockets and USB connections and Next Stop audio-visual announcements. Internally; they feature Esteban Civic V3 seating complete with e-leather; two-colour Tarabus 'Wood Effect' flooring; and blue accent lighting, which is fitted underneath seats, to provide extra light on the gangway.

Having recently been repainted, this vehicle has now received "Saltwell Park" branding for services 53/54, which operate a circular service between Newcastle City Centre, Gateshead and Saltwell Park.

As a temporary measure, this vehicle has been reinstated at Stanley Depot, and has been de-branded, so now no longer carries "Red Arrows" branding.

This vehicle, which carries a grey and red base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Due to a problem at the DVLA with registering this vehicle, and the introduction of the new '61' mark registration plates from September, it has been allocated a new registration mark (NK61 DBY) and has surrendered its... see more
