Although originally intended to be loaned for the Durham Lumiere event, this float/reserve vehicle has been absorbed into the main service fleet at Chester-le-Street Depot as a replacement for Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3868 (W178 SCU) which has been withdrawn due to engine issues.

First Group approached a number of bus operators up and down the United Kingdom to provide transport for them during the Commonwealth Games which are being held in Glasgow this year. Go North East has provided a total of 21 vehicles for the duration of the event, with this vehicle being just one. They are being held overnight at First Glasgow's depot on Tollcross Road, Parkhead.
