October 2018 Go North East Annual PSV tests on all of the recently acquired Volvo B7s are being completed by Volvo, rather than locally by Go North East, to alleviate pressure from the local engineering teams at depot level. As this does not include 6010 (V310 LGC) or 6033 (V333 LGC), these vehicles have transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside, with 6924 (LX54 GZB) & 6925 (LX54 GZC) moving the other way, meaning that all of the Volvo B7s at Saltmeadows Road have the PSV tests carried out by Volvo.
September 2018 Go North East Having previously been allocated to Percy Main Depot in a float/reserve capacity; this vehicle has been reinstated into full service at Saltmeadows Road Depot, which, from Monday 3rd September 2018, has re-opened as an operational depot to house the operation of some Nexus Miscellaneous Works contracts contracts. The depot's bodyshop and stores facility also remains in use at Saltmeadows. The allocation at Saltmeadows largely consists of older Volvo B7s, as these are not planned to be repainted and ideally are to be isolated from normal frontline service work.

July 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to the Special Events Fleet based at Deptford Terrace, seeing allocation to the Park & Ride services in operation for the Sunderland Tall Ships 2018 event, covering sites at Deptford Terrace, Downhill, Herrington Country Park, Fulwell and Stadium of Light. As this vehicle is fitted with an LED destination display, it is also expected to see use on the Tall Ships internal site shuttle.
April 2018 Go North East Following the cascade of Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka vehicles from Stanley, this vehicle has entered a float/reserve position within the fleet. It will be retained over the summer to cover additional vehicle requirements (such as the Sunderland Tall Ships Park & Ride services), and will only be retained in the fleet beyond summer if Go North East is awarded Miscellaneous Works Nexus contracts from September 2018. Whilst members of the "Red Arrows" branded Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 fleet undergo work to the Eminox system fitted to the bus, this vehicle will see allocation to Washington Depot.
February 2014 Go North East Photograph by Following the closure of Gateshead and Winlaton depots, this vehicle has been transferred to the brand new Riverside Depot. Riverside Depot replaces the existing depots at Sunderland Road in Gateshead and Winlaton which date back to the days of the tramways.
