From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Percy Main.

Following repaint; this vehicle has received "Coaster" branding, with sub-branding for services 1/1A (Whitley Bay - Wallsend - Newcastle - Gateshead). The branding features the tagline "ELECTRIC HYBRID", showing a leaf with an electric bolt within it, promoting Go North East's commitment to providing more environmentally-friendly buses in the region.

Ahead of the impending delivery of new double-deck vehicles for "Angel" service 21, representing a £4.3 million investment, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain light blue base livery. It will continue to see use at Chester-le-Street pending the entry into service of the new vehicles. Once the new vehicles enter service; this vehicle will cascade to Percy Main Depot where it will be allocated to "Coaster" service 1, providing an upgraded vehicle allocation on this service.

This vehicle, which carries a striking two-tone yellow and green base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It features Wi-Fi and Next Stop Announcement screens, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Once prepared for service, it is expected that the vehicle will transfer to Chester-le-Street Depot.
