This vehicle has received "DFDS Seaways" branding, for the 327 service operating between Newcastle City Centre and the International Ferry Terminal at North Shields, to connect with the DFDS Ferry to Ijmuiden for onward travel to Amsterdam. Each bus branded for the "DFDS Seaways" 327 service will feature different taglines on the uniquely coloured two-tone base livery. This example features the tagline "Fun Family Holidays" on the nearside, and "Daily Sailings to Europe" on the offside.

This vehicle has entered service at Percy Main Depot on "DFDS Seaways" service 327.

Prior to entering service, this vehicle has gained private cherished registration mark 340 GUP (previously held by Dennis Trident/East Lancs Lolyne 3866, which has now received its original registration prior to disposal). This vehicle's original registration, YN05 GZL, has now been held on retention.

Prior to entering service, this vehicle has had its seats re-trimmed into Go North East's standard blue 'Go' moquette and has had extended luggage bays fitted to allow use on "DFDS Seaways" service 327.

Released from Brighton & Hove following the entry into service of brand new Wright StreetDeck vehicles on the company's 1 service; this vehicle, previously numbered previously numbered 651 within the Brighton & Hove fleet, has now arrived at Go North East and will undergo preparation for service within the Go North East fleet at Saltmeadows Road Depot.

This vehicle has received modifications at Thornton Brothers, Ashington, and as such is now DDA-compliant. This means that this vehicle does not need to be withdrawn from service prior to 1 January 2016 (like all other non-DDA compliant single deckers).

Following the entry into service of the new Optare Solo SR M890 Hybrid/Optare vehicles at Deptford on "Sunderland Connect" service 700, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Saltmeadows Road. It has lost its 'Hybrid countdown' vinyl on the nearside and offside, and gained "Nexus" branding.
