Previously with Go-Ahead London Central as fleet number WVL269, this vehicle has now joined the Go North East fleet. Numbered separately from other double-deck vehicles in the fleet; it is one of a batch of 34 in the process of being amalgamated into the Go North East fleet, for exclusive use over the summer on Special Events and contracts (such as the Sunderland Tall Ships Park & Ride services). Members of the batch will only be retained in the fleet beyond summer if Go North East is awarded Miscellaneous Works Nexus contracts from September 2018. The batch of 19 WVL Volvo B7TLs have been released from Go-Ahead London following the loss of services 68 and 468 from 1st April 2018 to Abellio London and Arriva London South.
May 2016 Go North East
As a result of service revisions at Deptford Depot and the change in allocation to some of Deptford's services, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside. Until July 2016, this vehicle will act as an additional spare vehicle for "Crusader" service 27, "Blaydon Racers" service 49 and "Citylink" service 57.

This vehicle, which carries a purple base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Representing an investment of approximately £3.7m, this batch of vehicles are believed to be in line to upgrade "Prince Bishops" services 20/20A/X20. This vehicle has entered service at Deptford Depot, on "Prince Bishops" services 20/20A/X20 (South Shields - Durham).
May 2017 Go North East
This vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Crook, for a week-long trial on "The Castles Express" service X21 (Newcastle - Bishop Auckland), to compare against the Wright StreetDecks allocated to this service.
