August 2020 Go North East This vehicle has transferred to Go East Anglia (Hedingham & Chambers).
June 2020 Go North East Photograph by With most scholars services in Tyne & Wear returning to operation from Monday 15 June, re-allocations have taken place to accommodate the operation of all of these services. As such, this vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside.
June 2020 Go North East From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been re-licensed, but remains out of service.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
January 2020 Go North East In order to isolate dual-door configuration buses at Saltmeadows, where they should only be allocated to Nexus Miscellaneous Works services, the scholars contracts at Riverside will now instead be operated from Saltmeadows. Provincial specification vehicles will instead be allocated to contracts from Riverside, where they are more likely to be allocated to services on the frontline core commercial network between schools, on weekends, and during school holidays. As such, this vehicle has transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside.
September 2018 Go North East Following temporary loan to Riverside Depot, this vehicle has now returned to service at Saltmeadows Road.
September 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside, on temporary loan, to operate duplicate trips on "Crusader" service 27. Due to an obstruction on the line caused by high winds, the Tyne & Wear Metro service was suspended between Pelaw and South Shields in both directions from 15:25 to 18:45 on September 19th 2018. No Metro Replacement bus service was in operation, however Go North East had Metro ticket acceptance on all of its services parallel to the Tyne & Wear Metro system. To combat high passenger numbers, extra resources were also added into the operation of "Crusader" services 26/27 between Newcastle and South Shields.
September 2018 Go North East Photograph by Following changes to Nexus Miscellaneous Works and scholars contracts, which has seen Go North East being awarded with over 70 of the available contracts, this vehicle has been allocated to Saltmeadows Road Depot. As this vehicle has not been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery, it is anticipated that this vehicle will see minimal use on normal commercial services.
July 2018 Go North East Following the end of the Sunderland International Airshow event; this vehicle has been withdrawn from service and remains in storage, out of use, pending commencement of the new Nexus Miscellaneous Works scholars/works contracts in September. Further preparation for service will be undertaken during August to bring these vehicles up to Go North East's desired specification: Volvo B7TLs 6901 - 6919 will undergo full repaint into fleet livery and fitment of Hanover LED destination displays, Volvo B7TLs 6920 - 6934 will be fitted with Hanover LED destination displays, Volvo B7TLs 6935 - 6941 will receive Go North East fleet names on the EYMS base livery while 6939 will also be fitted with Hanover LED destination displays.

The Sunderland Airshow, held from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July 2018 across the city’s seafront, celebrates its 30th anniversary and includes colourful displays from the Red Arrows, the Typhoons and Spitfires.
