May 2008 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has received "Lambton Worm" branding, with sub-branding for service 71 (Chester-le-Street - Houghton-le-Spring - Sunderland). The Lambton Worm is a legend from County Durham in North East England in the UK. The story takes place around the River Wear, and is one of the area's most famous pieces of folklore, having been adapted from written and oral tradition into pantomime and song formats.
April 2008 Go North East Following the entry into service of new Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro vehicles at Gateshead Depot, this vehicle has transferred from Gateshead Depot to Chester-le-Street.
March 2008 Go North East Prior to new branding being launched, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain green base livery.
