In line with service changes effective 27th January 2008, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Gateshead.

Ahead of impending transfer to Gateshead Depot; this vehicle has received "The Crusader" branding, with sub-branding for the new 27 service, which operates between Newcastle City Centre and South Shields, via Gateshead, Heworth, Hebburn and Jarrow. It has also been fitted with a new LED front destination display, but retains the flipdot side and rear displays.
