June 2020 Go North East Photograph by From Monday 1 June 2020, in line with guidance from the government, Go North East's bus services will start returning to what can be considered a 'normal' level of service on weekdays (albeit still reduced on weekends), also with some minor changes which had originally been planned to take place from 17 May 2020. As such, this vehicle has now been reinstated at Riverside.
April 2020 Go North East Following completion of all required vehicle re-allocations; this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been officially delicensed (SORN'd), enabling Go North East to obtain a tax refund.
February 2020 Go North East In partnership with Gateshead Council; this vehicle has received exhaust modifications, increasing the Euro standard of this bus from Euro 5 to Euro 6.
May 2019 Go North East In line with service changes and the introduction of new brand identities, there were a large number of vehicle re-allocations which took place on Sunday 19 May, the significance of which have been likened to the South Shields and Bishop Auckland depot closures in 2005 and 2006 respectively. This vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Riverside, where it should see primary allocation to services 29 and 64/95, which now interwork.

June 2017 Go North East Photograph by Having previously carried "SimpliCity" branding; this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery, and, following the completion of repaint, has transferred from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street. This example carries the tagline "Our buses run 35 million miles a year - that's like going to the moon and back 72 times". From Saturday 3rd June 2017, the operation of "See it, Do it, Sunderland" service 36 will transfer from Deptford Depot to Chester-le-Street, for which this vehicle will be a spare vehicle for, in the event that any of the branded Optare Versas are unavailable for service.
April 2016 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of upcoming service changes, due to commence from Sunday 22nd May 2016, which will see "SimpliCity" service 2 reduced to a 15-minute frequency, this vehicle has had the frequency on the cant rail revised to reflect the new frequency.
May 2015 Go North East As a new Next Stop Announcement programme for the revised 2/2A services was not created following the service revisions earlier this year, this vehicle has lost its Next Stop Announcement kit. These kits have instead been fitted to the "The Orbit" branded vehicles at Riverside Depot ahead of service changes in July, which will see "QuayLink" service Q1 merged with "The Orbit" services 51/52.
March 2015 Go North East Photograph by Following service revisions in Sunderland during January 2015 which saw a number of changes to service and consequent re-allocations, this vehicle has gained "SimpliCity" branding, with sub-branding for services 2/2A.
March 2015 Go North East This vehicle has been repainted into a plain purple base livery.

July 2011 Go North East Prior to entering service, this vehicle has received "SimpliCity" branding. Following the initial rollout of "SimpliCity" branding on service 36 earlier this month, using new Optare Versas 8319 - 8324, Go North East will now extend the brand to service 42 (Sunderland - Silksworth). The brand is designed to promote Go North East's services which make life easier for people living in Sunderland.
July 2011 Go North East This vehicle, which carries a purple base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It features audio-visual Next Stop Announcements, and is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. Once prepared for service, it is expected to be allocated to Deptford Depot.
