This vehicle has entered service at Crook Depot on "The Castles Express" service X21 (Newcastle - Durham - Bishop Auckland).

To support the product launch of new Wright StreetDeck/Wright StreetDeck Micro-Hybrid 3 vehicles on "The Angel" service 21 (Newcastle - Chester-le-Street - Durham), Wrightbus have provided this vehicle to Go North East on temporary four-week loan. As most of the new vehicles destined for "The Angel" have now entered service; it will be allocated to Crook Depot to allow a comparison against their older Wright StreetDecks, while they undergo preparation for annual MOT test, which would have otherwise resulted in the allocation of older vehicles to Crook Depot on temporary loan.

This vehicle, which previously carried "Blaydon Racers" branding, has been repainted into a plain red base livery, and has also gained the revised version of the "Blaydon Racers" branding.
January 2008 Go North East
In line with service changes effective 27th January 2008, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Gateshead. It has also been fitted with a new LED front destination display, but retains the flipdot side and rear displays. January 2012 Go North East
This vehicle has gained "The OK Expressway" branding, with sub-branding for service OK1. Following the unexpected death of Wade Emmerson Snr. in August 1994, Go-Ahead purchased the company's operations from the majority shareholder of OK, Wade Emmerson Jnr., for £5.4 million in April 1995.
