April 2017 Stagecoach North East In line with upcoming service changes in Newcastle which will see service X47 revised to operate to and from the city's Eldon Square Bus Station and at a reduced 15-minute daytime frequency, this vehicle has had its route branding for service X47 removed. Stagecoach's network revisions in Newcastle have been carefully planned to improve reliability for customers and to take account of deteriorating traffic conditions around the city. These changes also closer match bus services with passenger travel patterns, and following the public consultation earlier in the spring, also introduce a number of requested new links in and around the city.
