April 2017 Stagecoach North East Following a two-month trial period at Stagecoach North East; this vehicle has now been withdrawn from service at Walkergate Depot, and returned to Wrightbus.
February 2017 Stagecoach North East Photograph by This vehicle has entered service at Walkergate Depot, where it will be allocated to service 38 (Whickham View - Freeman Hospital). During its trial period at Walkergate, it will be directly compared against Dennis Trident 2/Alexander Enviro 400MMC 10638 (SN16 OYD), which will also be allocated to service 38 for a two-month period, as opposed to services 62/63 (the services for which it was ordered to be allocated to). It is thought that the primary objective of the trial is to compare the fuel efficiency of the two different vehicle types.
