RE: Whats made you happy today? - Jamie M - 14 Feb 2017 (14 Feb 2017, 2:58 pm)Andreos1 You would be surprised how many CV's aren't relevant...I'm not saying everything is relevant, but it's a skill to make it relevant. RE: Whats made you happy today? - Andreos1 - 14 Feb 2017 (14 Feb 2017, 3:32 pm)Jamie M I'm not saying everything is relevant, but it's a skill to make it relevant. A few years ago, I was seconded within a major organisation and they started making redundancies. As part of my role, I worked with guys to produce CV's, complete job applications, produce covering letterers etc. Some of them didnt know what a CV was - nevermind how to make them relevant. We got there in the end RE: Whats made you happy today? - Jamie M - 14 Feb 2017 (14 Feb 2017, 4:07 pm)Andreos1 A few years ago, I was seconded within a major organisation and they started making redundancies.Bet that was fun [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH] RE: Whats made you happy today? - Andreos1 - 14 Feb 2017 (14 Feb 2017, 5:06 pm)Jamie M Bet that was fun [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH] It certainly was! The best bit was when they started getting interviews and jobs. RE: Whats made you happy today? - James101 - 14 Feb 2017 (14 Feb 2017, 5:57 pm)Andreos1 It certainly was! It shocking how many people can't write a CV. For entry level jobs I disqualify any CV with poor formatting, grammar and spelling without even reading it properly. I'm also tempted to bin anyone who says they enjoy 'going to the cinema, playing sprorts and socialising with my friends'. RE: Whats made you happy today? - mb134 - 16 Feb 2017 Went down to Pittodrie tonight with some friends to watch Aberdeen's hammering of Motherwell. The 7-2 scoreline could have been so much higher, makes a nice change from Newcastle's usual cautious approach. Helped, of course, by Motherwell being unable to defend literally any ball into their box like.... RE: Whats made you happy today? - Jamie M - 16 Feb 2017 (16 Feb 2017, 12:21 am)mb134 Went down to Pittodrie tonight with some friends to watch Aberdeen's hammering of Motherwell. There are about 3 decent/mediocre teams and the rest shouldn't even go through the bother of turning up, you can see where the 3 points are going before a ball is kicked! Hooe you enjoyed anyway, it's always a fun atmoshphere when that happens in any case. RE: Whats made you happy today? - mb134 - 16 Feb 2017 (16 Feb 2017, 12:40 am)Jamie M The scottish football is like that. Have a watch of the highlights on the BBC, the defending for the third goal is comical RE: Whats made you happy today? - Andreos1 - 16 Feb 2017 (16 Feb 2017, 12:42 am)mb134 Oh aye definitely! Did well as a player for Aberdeen less so as a manager. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4229372/Mark-McGhee-loses-plot-fourth-official.html Nice to see Bowman get on the scoresheet. Saw him in his last game for Gateshead and it looked like he was away. Signed for Motherwell the next day! RE: Whats made you happy today? - mb134 - 16 Feb 2017 (16 Feb 2017, 8:48 am)Andreos1 http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38973451 Ta, tried to link it last night but I couldn't work out how to do so on the app Not really, at least I didn't notice anything. Only really got stick when he was sent to the stands, and that only lasted a couple of minutes. Still unsure as to why Lewis came off his line for that one… RE: Whats made you happy today? - Jamie M - 26 Feb 2017 I had a go on 663 today, really great experience. A lot easier than I thought it would be [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH] RE: Whats made you happy today? - idiot - 27 Feb 2017 Won the bingo that I run at work last night. There was ructions! Good to see these crop up on one of my local routes. Think I might become a regular passenger now. RE: Whats made you happy today? - Pulsar - 25 Mar 2017 Went to watch my local football club Blyth Spartans today. Looks like after a few seasons of coming close that they should win the league this year. 13 points clear with 6 games to go (although some teams have more games to play). Tense game aswell, missed a few chances and then Rushall equalized in 90th minute only for us to score again in the 92nd minute. good 3 points with a 2-1 win.
