Then again, maybe the Toon Link will get new deckers?

(29 Mar 2015, 11:11 am)Tom The Eclipses are pretty similar to Solars, but I think they are a bit better. I don't think the 9 will get branded, because then the Deptford ones would have to be branded too. Although it could happen - I liked the ''Cross Tyne'' branding on the SPDs.

To be honest, apart from peak times I'm not sure the Toon Link justifies deckers.

Maybe they should brand the Percy Main operated ones only, and renumber the short ones to 9A or something.

What I think could happen if the Toon Link didn't get new buses is:
- Omnicities 5234-5242 to Riverside for Toon Link 11/31/32, Renowns withdrawn.
- Eclipses 4978-4982 to Percy Main for Cross Tyne service 9. Omnicties 5247-5249 to Riverside for Derwent Ranger (new brand) service 47.
- 5250 to Riverside in exchange for the new spare Streetlite for Derwent Ranger service 47.
- 5332 replaces a B10BLE at Riverside, as do the Solars 4944/4949/4966.

that livery was good til they put a South Tyne Vinals over the top of Cross Tyne logos

anyhow on a different note wonder when todays fortnightly NEB News will be available and what surprises await me and the rest of us

(29 Mar 2015, 11:28 am)Davie What I'll think will happen is the current Red kite (and 5234) Omnicities will transfer to Riverside for Loop services 93 and 94 allowing some renowns to be withdrawn, and then 4944, 4949, 4964 and 4966 replace 4 renowns at Riverside
