(18 Mar 2016, 9:44 pm)Adrian Me neither, but can't say I'm disappointed. I think it's more to do with his position in the EU exit campaign, rather than the benefit cuts though.

Either way, the continuous announcement of taxes and cuts during the budget and then a reversal of policy following public reaction - demonstrates how far removed from reality this lot really are.

A few senior tories are coming out saying IDS backed, agreed and endorsed the budget.

Certainly sticking two fingers up at Gideon.

Stephen Crabb announced as IDS replacement... they didn't hang around on that one.

Yeah true. That and Cameron's conquest to surround himself around yes men and women.

Still, anything that threatens to split the Tories can only be seen as a good thing.

I think if there's a u-turn on the benefit cuts announced last week, that'll tip the balance even further.

Trump....

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States should use waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques when questioning terror suspects, and renewed his call for tougher U.S. border security after the attacks in Brussels.

Trump is a complete bell scrot!

Now, I disagree with some of Trump's policies (islamaphbic comments and sexist comments) however some do make sense such as a wall between Mexico and America to stop illegal immigration and drugs

The wall wont stop illegal imigrants, plus its going to cost billions to build.

To stop illegal immigration in America? Lets not forget that the Europeans entered America as immigrants way back, and pushed the natives out.

Building walls between borders solves nothing. You only have to look as far as the Berlin wall for that.

Who will he get to build that wall?

You do know that people have boats and stuff? If he's serious, then he needs to build fortresses all along the coast. Why do you think there's so many castles on the Northumberland coast?

He wants the Mexicans to pay for the wall so i would imagine he'll want them to build it..

Like the Mexicans would agree to that.

RE: Politics (and other political stuff) - MurdnunoC - 23 Mar 2016

I'd be more inclined to help Canada against the influx of Americans wishing to escape if Trump gets elected:

Come to think of it, I think we should help the Mexicans too...
