(28 Jun 2016, 6:40 pm)R852 PRG Jeremy Corbyn has lost a vote of no-confidence with 172 votes for him to step down as leader and 40 votes for him to remain. Add this to the goodness-knows-how-many MPs who have resigned from the Shadow Cabinet and other positions. I'm pleased I'm not him.

Jeremy was democratically elected by the membership of the party, and MPs are more than aware that they could trigger a leadership election with 20% of the PLP nominating a candidate. However, they also know that a challenger is unlikely to be successful standing against Jeremy Corbyn, which is why they're trying to bully him out instead.

(01 Jul 2016, 1:01 pm)MrFozz I dont like Corbyn myself, but what is going on is just nasty, it seems the party are trying to bully out a man who was democratically voted with the biggest mandate in history.

I suspect if anyone decides to challenge Jeremy, the position he is in, with the grassroots support he has, he will manage to win any challenge to his position.

(04 Jul 2016, 11:15 am)MurdnunoC He's already been a Tory and it's unlikely they'll have him back after a rather boisterous stint of a rival party echoing some of their core values thus potentially splitting the Conservative vote.

Today, he said he'd be keeping a close eye on negotiations to leave the EU (if it ever happens). After last week's display in the European Parliament, I think it's extremely unlikely that he'd be invited to participate in any negotiation team. 

I'd even say it's more likely for you to be asked before Farage. You should lay down some odds on yourself.

Not sure i want Theresa May to... she was a remain campaigner, personally, i think it should be someone from the leave campaign to be prime minister so they can get the ball rolling etc.
