RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Cock Robin - 10 Jul 2015 (09 Jul 2015, 8:47 pm)Jimmi New Darlington 5/5A timetable from Sunday 30th August, seriously it's a mess and for some reason is displaying times for journeys to West Park and times from Skerne Park, seriously what the hell is this. 'page can't be found' now. Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - MrPottski - 11 Jul 2015 On the subject of the new X22 service, it will be a Darlington working, using EcoCitys. So, 21 to Peterlee, X22 to Sunderland, via current X21 route to the Seaham/Dalton Park junction of the A19, turning right and following the A1018 to Seaham Interchange. It will then serve the coast road between Seaham Harbour and Ryhope, picking up the X21 route again at Ryhope Hospital. Coast road should be fun! RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Jimmi - 11 Jul 2015 (10 Jul 2015, 1:41 pm)Cock Robin 'page can't be found' now. Thankfully they have fixed the Darlington 5/5A timetable. https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/GetTimetable/?guid=a669c1a7-8faf-4c9b-aa63-b3d5aeb843b8&id=33319&date=150830-151008 Wonder how the evening workings on the 5A will now work as the journey time will now be 1hour, 1 minutes so obviously won't be able to operate it standalone with two buses anymore, so will probably have to find something for it to interwork with or have a bus sitting in Darlington for nearly an hour. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Stuartphin1639 - 11 Jul 2015 (11 Jul 2015, 8:18 pm)MrPottski On the subject of the new X22 service, it will be a Darlington working, using EcoCitys. So wait there, the new starters have the 21/X21 on there rota now, and then yet again they change it so that means more route learning for them, why can't they just keep things simple RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Simmy - 12 Jul 2015 (11 Jul 2015, 8:18 pm)MrPottski On the subject of the new X22 service, it will be a Darlington working, using EcoCitys. It will then serve the coast road between Seaham Harbour and Ryhope, picking up the X21 route again at Ryhope Hospital. Coast road should be fun! The route number complicates things quite a bit in my opinion. Why not keep it as the X21 but put on timetables that certain journeys will operate via Seaham and the coast road. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - tyresmoke - 12 Jul 2015 (11 Jul 2015, 8:36 pm)Jimmi Thankfully they have fixed the Darlington 5/5A timetable. They will interwork with the 3s and the 66s on a night in a neat little circuit. Gives the 5A more running time. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Jimmi - 12 Jul 2015 (12 Jul 2015, 10:37 am)tyresmoke They will interwork with the 3s and the 66s on a night in a neat little circuit. Gives the 5A more running time. It's good that will have slightly more running time as the 5A evening timetable is rather tight. No doubt this could possibly mean Solos will run the service on a night again, probably sporting the Freqenta brand. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - tyresmoke - 12 Jul 2015 (12 Jul 2015, 10:41 am)Jimmi It's good that will have slightly more running time as the 5A evening timetable is rather tight. Resources do get used pretty intensively these days so buses do end up all over the place especially at peak times and onwards into the evening. The X12 is possibly a great example of this, with the interworking with the 6 on an evening, and also the extra peak trips that utilise buses off other services. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Michael - 13 Jul 2015 The new X21 timetable is now available for the 1st September changes - https://www.arrivabus.co.uk/north-east/services/x21---peterlee-to-sunderland/?direction=outbound&date=150901 (not sure if it'll go straight on to new one from new link, might have to open it yourselves) No timetable for the X22 yet. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Jimmi - 17 Jul 2015 More Northumbria changes on VOSA today: PHP PB0002032/11 - ARRIVA NORTHUMBRIA LTD, 1 ADMIRAL WAY, DOXFORD INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PARK, SUNDERLAND, SR3 3XP RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Tom - 17 Jul 2015 What's the X7 then? RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - S813 FVK - 17 Jul 2015 (17 Jul 2015, 3:00 pm)Tom What's the X7 then? I can only think of the X13 renumbered. No doubt Kuyoyo will know more... RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Tom - 17 Jul 2015 (17 Jul 2015, 3:02 pm)S813 FVK I can only think of the X13 renumbered. No doubt Kuyoyo will know more... Ah yeah that's what it'll be I forgot about the X13. Cheers. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - DavidSBrough - 17 Jul 2015 The X4 is becoming the X7, the X5 is becoming the X8 and the X13 is becoming the X9. If you search the registration number on Google it comes up what the service number is. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - mb134 - 18 Jul 2015 (17 Jul 2015, 10:58 pm)DavidSBrough The X4 is becoming the X7, the X5 is becoming the X8 and the X13 is becoming the X9. Any reason for the change of service numbers? RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - Tom - 18 Jul 2015 (18 Jul 2015, 9:23 am)mb134 Any reason for the change of service numbers? Probably to group them all together, so you'll have X7/X8/X9/X10/X11 instead of X4/X5/X10/X11/X13. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - mb134 - 18 Jul 2015 (18 Jul 2015, 9:25 am)Tom Probably to group them all together, so you'll have X7/X8/X9/X10/X11 instead of X4/X5/X10/X11/X13. Seems fair enough, still think it's going to be a bit confusing though... What's happening with the current X9 then? RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - S813 FVK - 18 Jul 2015 (18 Jul 2015, 9:27 am)mb134 Seems fair enough, still think it's going to be a bit confusing though... Being renumbered X6 i think. RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - tyresmoke - 18 Jul 2015 It also rids us of duplicate X-numbers too, what with having two X4s and X5s RE: Arriva North East: Upcoming Service Changes - omnicity4659 - 19 Jul 2015 (18 Jul 2015, 2:25 pm)tyresmoke It also rids us of duplicate X-numbers too, what with having two X4s and X5s Then you have X21 and X22... Great to see that the X20 will go to Alnwick, but I see route variations on the X18... The X21/X22 looks like they're changing, I hope it improves the service instead of faffing around with morning services and cutting early evening services. |
