RE: Go North East - Latest - randomdude - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 4:16 pm)Dan 6098 - a problem with the gears. The passengers were transferred onto the solar I was on. Definitely put its capacity to the test. (It was packed) RE: Go North East - Latest - Tom - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 12:45 pm)GuyParkRoyal 8236 was on the 34 this morning departing Chester le Street Red Lion at 24 past the hour. I should be back in Chester le Street in time to see if it is on the 13.24 and will edit this post around 13.35 to advise if it is still out on 34's. Thanks very much indeed! I managed to photograph it, alongside 8228 and 8237 RE: Go North East - Latest - Dan - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 4:48 pm)Tom Thanks very much indeed! I managed to photograph it, alongside 8228 and 8237 8289 was on 50s, but I'm guessing you didn't manage that one? RE: Go North East - Latest - Tom - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 4:49 pm)Dan 8289 was on 50s, but I'm guessing you didn't manage that one? No, I didn't sadly. I was only in CLS for about 30 minutes, and only saw 4927 and 4929 on the 50. I've already photographed that one anyway There must have been about five red renowns on the 8/78 too - 4838/39/44/49/03. RE: Go North East - Latest - Andreos1 - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 5:41 pm)Tom No, I didn't sadly. I was only in CLS for about 30 minutes, and only saw 4927 and 4929 on the 50. I've already photographed that one anyway There were two (one on 78 heading out of Lumley and an 8 heading up Pelaw Bank) about 16.45 ish. Not sure whether you got them. RE: Go North East - Latest - Tom - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 5:51 pm)andreos1 There were two (one on 78 heading out of Lumley and an 8 heading up Pelaw Bank) about 16.45 ish. Do you mean SPD's or Renowns? RE: Go North East - Latest - Tom - 04 Jan 2014 Also, do the X70/X71 get one hour layover's at Consett? - 4905 was sitting in a stand blinded up for the X70 to Newcastle, and 4913 went into a stand too, while a Lolyne operated the X71? RE: Go North East - Latest - Andreos1 - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 6:08 pm)Tom Do you mean SPD's or Renowns? Sorry - Renowns. RE: Go North East - Latest - Tom - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 6:21 pm)andreos1 Sorry - Renowns. Ah yes, I got 4844/03, rode on 4839/03. RE: Go North East - Latest - CatsFast101 - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 6:13 pm)Tom Also, do the X70/X71 get one hour layover's at Consett? - 4905 was sitting in a stand blinded up for the X70 to Newcastle, and 4913 went into a stand too, while a Lolyne operated the X71? Possibly to recover delays because of late running like what happens with the ventures and bishop Auckland bus station. So a bus will go spare will go out and work the service and when the bus that should of worked the service arrives back it becomes the spare etc. etc. Or maybe they've replaced it after a round trip due to poor reliability on Stanley's fleet. No, they didn't replace it as it was blinded up ''X70 Newcastle'', as was 4905. RE: Go North East - Latest - Michael - 04 Jan 2014 Remember the Sunderland Connect changes from Monday with the 701 running between 8:45am and 2:38pm - half hourly at only St Peter's Campus City Campus - Chester Road Royal Hospital/Clanny House City Campus - Travel Hub St Peter's Campus Good change for people to get the 701 on picture Service restarts from 19:17pm Has Deptford received any more B9's today? Hopefully half of the B9's are in service tomorrow =D RE: Go North East - Latest - JP6004 - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 8:04 pm)Michael Remember the Sunderland Connect changes from Monday with the 701 running between 8:45am and 2:38pm - half hourly at only I would imagine so, seen quite a few more this afternoon from my balcony RE: Go North East - Latest - Dan - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 8:04 pm)Michael Has Deptford received any more B9's today? All being well, Sunday's full PVR should be met tomorrow - but after the issues with 6098 earlier, who knows... Only four were ready today (6093/94/96/98). RE: Go North East - Latest - Michael - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 8:27 pm)Dan All being well, Sunday's full PVR should be met tomorrow - but after the issues with 6098 earlier, who knows... Have i worked it out correct that the PVR on a Sunday for the 56 is 7? Hopefully its a full decker allocation tomorrow! Their new buses, they will have their little problem's, hopefully it can/has being fixed RE: Go North East - Latest - Dan - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 9:07 pm)Michael Have i worked it out correct that the PVR on a Sunday for the 56 is 7? Seven or eight, yup - half the frequency so half the usual PVR (15/2=7.5). Layover is either less generous or more generous on Sundays. I can't remember. RE: Go North East - Latest - Michael - 04 Jan 2014 (04 Jan 2014, 9:11 pm)Dan Seven or eight, yup - half the frequency so half the usual PVR (15/2=7.5). I would say they have a little layover at park lane..we all know what traffic can be like in Newcastle, wonder what the passengers will think when all of them are in Service. Dan have you found out if Deptford are loosing their decker's with the 2 spare B9's coming in? (would say 6020 will stop). Can i ask about the Blaydon Racers changes, Their changes --- Service 49B will be revised to operate via Parkhead Estate in Winlaton, to replace service 49A, and will increase to operate every 20 minutes. Service 49 will also increase to operate every 20 minutes, improving the frequency of the service in Winlaton. 49/49B will continue to provide a bus every 10 minutes between Blaydon, Metrocentre and Gateshead on Monday-Saturday daytimes. Does that mean only the 49/49B/49C will operate? - with adding the extra citaro to the PVR? |
