(25 Mar 2015, 4:15 pm)Citaro5292 Well 5234 has arrived back at stanley depot today in black

Seems the Toonlink could be changing to black... as it should be, relating it to Newcastle....

Loop is another service it could move on to....which has a PVR of 8 - with 1 spare.

Fast Cats X35 with the rest staying at Stanley?

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - LeeCalder - 25 Mar 2015

Remember when I predicted the Toon Link should be black and white haha

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - JP6004 - 25 Mar 2015

(25 Mar 2015, 4:22 pm)Jimmi Well the obvious guesses would be The Loop or Fast Cats although I highly doubt we will see them on the Fast Cats as the Solar's were only repainted last year and I don't think the Loop will get them either.

The other guess would be a new brand or just new colour for a service - Toonlink perhaps.

Or maybe heading onto the 9 with a new brand?

Even as a Mackem.. i have to agree with you, it would seem the best idea... as its a Newcastle area based service...

Has there been full confirmation that they are heading over to the Toon Link? We'll find out if they are if the B7RLEs get painted too considering they can't move unless more omnicities are sourced from somewhere. Black and white would look awful and i will eat my own hair if that happens.

Toon link is to get brand new double deckers as far as I'm aware now

Don't think it has, but as its came out black they might of changed idea's... we'll have to wait and see.

Hmmm, there are some football references in Dan's post - "Mackem to Mackem"

It's black.

So, possibly the Toon Link?

(25 Mar 2015, 4:31 pm)citaro5284 Going to hold you to this mind Robert if these head over to Toonlink!!

Oh dear...best ask GNE to change their plans if they are going there

(25 Mar 2015, 4:37 pm)Robert Oh dear...best ask GNE to change their plans if they are going there

We'll hold you to ransom by bus-napping 3823 if you don't upload visual evidence, mind! Wink

You've got a few weeks to worry about this potential cascade... Cling on to the hope that they go on the "Loop" services or somewhere else besides the "Toon Link"!

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - S813 FVK - 25 Mar 2015

But i know that they will probably be going to the Toon Link! So i think that i think black and white would look beautiful and i hope it happens  Dodgy

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - Michael - 25 Mar 2015

PVR for Loop is 8

PVR for Fast Cats is 10 in total but... since they don't interwork, the X35 could gain them with the rest either stopping at Stanley or heading to other depots as spares...

Or like i think, they'll go on to Toonlink 11,31,32 and the 47 will remain as B7RLE's....

Unless a current service which isn't branded is gonna receive a brand, however this one is highly doubtful.

So i'll stick to the Toonlink!, it also suits black..

(25 Mar 2015, 4:52 pm)citaro5284 You knar, I just love all this guessing...makes my night really!!

Are eating popcorn while you let us guess? Tongue

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - S813 FVK - 25 Mar 2015

I HAVE IT (hopefully)!
8 Omnicities to Loop and 1 red spare
Solars to Toon Link replacing all of the B10s. Yes you still have the Solar/B7RLE operations but it would work...

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - Michael - 25 Mar 2015

Any idea when the 35/35A/36/61 will receive their brands?

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - March 2015 - Malarkey - 25 Mar 2015

Here my Prediction.

5234 to 5242 - Transfer from Stanley to Riverside for the 93/94 once the Wright Streetlites enter Service on the 45/46.
5219 to 5226 - Repainted into Corporate Livery for use on Services 31/32
4978 to 4982 - Repainted into Corporate Livery for use on Service 57
New Deckers for Services 11/47

As a result of the above, Volvo B10BLE Wright Renowns 4841/5144 to 5150 and 5167 to 5171 would therefore be Withdrawn from Service, Joining 4853/54 and 4855 once the Wright Streetlites enter Service on the 8/78, and depending on which Services are getting Double Deckers I could see 4842 to 4847 and 5151 to 5165 also being Withdrawn as a Result of Vehicle Cascades.

Think 5298 to 5309 will be treated to a Repaint first before being Rebranded, to make them look a lot more presentable like 5325 to 5327.

Reckon Citaro5284 is more of a Pringles or Doritos Man myself like, All this guessing must make the hairs on his Tash curl, providing he has one that is.

Hmm that could happen... doesn't really effect me as i don't use the services....... so not sure on numbers etc.

Wonder when the hints will start for the deckers, we know they're gonna be Cummins engines... Tongue

How many B10's will be left in service after all of the orders arrive?
