I love how the website lists services in numerical order. Namely S1, V1, V2, X1, 2.... #omission

(24 Aug 2016, 9:25 am)Dan About 50 in total - around 40 on Tall Ships alone.

In other news, the new Go North East website is active at www.gonortheast.co.uk

Will it be a similar number for Tall Ships on Fri/Sun/Mon too?

(24 Aug 2016, 11:48 am)YAmbassador New website looks good....alarming and somewhat disgraceful that Newcastle - Durham is the same fare as Birttley Durham mind

Is the enthusiast section still on the website. Can not find it.

(24 Aug 2016, 3:35 pm)Adrian The 'Journey Planner' tool on the new website is a lot better than previous, although I'm not sure it should be telling customers to use the competition instead...

It presents a problem for customers too. Because the only multi-operator ticket valid for that journey would be an Explorer. So customers asking for a 'Day Ticket' (as they do!), will most likely end up with an Arriva Day ticket.
If it didn't, it'd have to tell us to wait until Sunday to go anywhere!

Hopefully in the not so distant future... I road tested service 42 earlier this week and it was more or less spot on - but we had a few problems with 40/41 which will need to be sorted before the announcements are publicly launched.

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2016 - Tom - 25 Aug 2016

Just looked on that fare thing on the website and it seems the fare on the 11 is £3.30 from Tynemouth Road yet £2.40 on the 1 from the same stop.

However, saying that the 11 is a very reliable service and I am very surprised with how good it is. Even heard people saying how good it is compared to the 17! Seeing how long the route is and with the traffic around Metrocentre is seems to always be on time no matter what time of the day (even peak times). So hopefully it will stay that way as it does seem fairly busy between Newcastle and Wallsend still.

I'm on a 56 that left sunderland a few minutes ago, let's just say the NSA is having a few issues - talk over itself and repeating the same gibberish message. It was working earlier also.

It's quite comical.

Same thing happened to me on 6003 a while ago then completely stopped working at Wreketon

No, I have seen 5320 on the 57.
I believe that 5167 and 4907 are covering 5294 and 5321 as I haven't seen them today.

RE: Go North East: Latest News & Discussion - August 2016 - LeeCalder - 25 Aug 2016

From what I've been told by one of the managers at Riverside, Go North East have hired in some buses and drivers from both Kingsley's and Jim Hughes for the tall ships.
