We are currently trying to rectify the issue, however currently we will not be sending trains past Pelaw on the Sunderland line. Have to wonder how hard they have tried to find buses as even Stagecoach would have spares given the reduced PVR on the 1 for the summer, not to mention all of the displaced Enviro400s. They may have the vvehicles spare but drivers need to be sourced. I can only guess it is to do with EDIM'S and making sure a good cross-section of the population take part. There may be other reasons, but that one jumps out to me. I have just found out there is an event at Whitley Bay Customer First Centre on Tuesday evening. The North Tyneside Transport Forum and Nexus are offering people the chance to get involved in the consultation there. There is ticket acceptance on the 27 Heworth to Jarrow, the 9, 88, and 5 as of 3:05 We are running a shuttle service between Brockley Whins and South Hylton, which will be regulated to a frequent service but we do not have a timetable.
