RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Michael - 28 May 2014 [quote='Dan' pid='44372' dateline='1401255291'] Absolutely hopeless. Clearly forgot to cancel an automatic posting. [/quote Lmao just read it, they are hopeless RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - DanPicken - 31 May 2014 4038 & 4084 running together today doing train 102 RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Tom - 01 Jun 2014 Will advertisements be placed on the refurbished metrocars or not? RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Dan - 04 Jun 2014 (04 Jun 2014, 11:16 am)Scott Most adverts are vinyls which just peel of when finished with, so I would imagine they would. I think they would probably wait until they have all be refurbished. Depending on the length of time the vinyl is applied for, they can leave behind some hideous marks which means that they would have to be repainted again. RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Dan - 04 Jun 2014 (04 Jun 2014, 11:51 am)Scott I've seen a bad examble on one of Gon North East's Blaydon Racers, where you could see the outlines of the Red Arrows vinyls. Yes, the vinyl marks left behind on the windows from the Red Arrows cannot be removed. The ex-London artics had marks left behind from London vinyls which could be seen with the old branding on the X66 (can't remember if you can with the new branding or not). RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Dan - 06 Jun 2014 Fleet list updated and is now correct based on the current fleet position as at 03/06/14 - with information given courtesy of Gem63. http://northeastbuses.co.uk/fleet/metro.php RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Andreos1 - 09 Jun 2014 Fire reported at St James Metro station RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Tom - 09 Jun 2014 (09 Jun 2014, 8:37 pm)Andreos Constantopolous Fire reported at St James Metro station A big one? RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Andreos1 - 09 Jun 2014 (09 Jun 2014, 8:40 pm)Tom A big one? Not sure. Hard to tell from photos on twitter. Unsure whether it is the station itself or the bushes on the top. @SarahThornton1 @SarahThornton1 RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - DanPicken - 10 Jun 2014 http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/firefighters-tackle-fire-st-james-7242016 RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Dan - 12 Jun 2014 Anyone know what was up with the Metro today? An alleged 'technical fault' - taking 3 hours for the disruption to clear! RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Michael - 12 Jun 2014 (12 Jun 2014, 3:08 pm)Dan Anyone know what was up with the Metro today? An alleged 'technical fault' - taking 3 hours for the disruption to clear! It's the weather, its to hot for the metro Re: RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Adrian - 12 Jun 2014 (12 Jun 2014, 3:08 pm)Dan Anyone know what was up with the Metro today? Aye, but it'll be too wet tomorrow! RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Dan - 12 Jun 2014 Funny story... An old woman was talking to my mam the other day and asked how reliable the 9 was, as she doesn't usually get the bus and only uses the Metro... She claimed the Metro was always on time and very reliable. RE: Tyne and Wear Metro - Adrian - 12 Jun 2014 (12 Jun 2014, 4:29 pm)Dan Funny story... An old woman was talking to my mam the other day and asked how reliable the 9 was, as she doesn't usually get the bus and only uses the Metro... She claimed the Metro was always on time and very reliable. She has very low expectations then. I've given up on the Metro south of the Tyne. It's not as bad north of it though. My mam told me that she responded: "My son would disagree with you - but we'll leave it at that." I've gave up with the North side of the river Always a failed train when I use it, either that, or I miss the connecting 17 at Wallsend - much easier to get the 1. |
