RE: Tender Discussion Thread - Dan - 05 Nov 2017

(05 Nov 2017, 2:12 pm)Jimmi Does anyone know any details on which operators are going to be running the extra Durham Park & Ride services for the Durham Lumiere event between 16-19 November?

This is the only info I can find on the park and rides (plus diversions, stand changes etc) but doesn't say who's running them: http://www.cartogold.co.uk/durham/

(05 Nov 2017, 4:24 pm)GuyParkRoyal PR4 & PR5 are not yet registered.

If I recall correctly; Arriva won nothing this year, and the PR4 and PR5 were awarded to Nightingale Coaches.

RE: Tender Discussion Thread - S813 FVK - 21 Dec 2017

(21 Dec 2017, 5:09 pm)Michael What services are these?

There were 6 'lots' that had their tenders reissued and consequently did not start on 29th October as per the others:

Lot 1: 700/701/702/703 Chester-le-Street Town Services
Lot 2 (no award - taken on commercially?): X25 Langley Park - Newcastle (Mon-Sat evening)
Lot 3: 209/210 Peterlee - Horden circulars
Lot 4: 17 Newton Aycliffe Town Service
Lot 5: 881 West Auckland - Witton Park
Lot 6: 104 Bishop Auckland - Newfield

The act service numbers may be wrong, but everything else should be correct.

Yup, the Newton Aycliffe 17 contract also includes school service 879 and the 104 contract seemingly includes the 82 to Ramshaw which is currently operated by Durham County Council, unsure what's happening with the 88 to Hamsterley which is part of the current 104 contract.

Contracts commence from January 28th 2018.
