I've not said how many will be bought by Go North East, but I have said how many could potentially be released for cascade:

Brighton & Hove Buses are pleased to announce improvements and changes to a number of bus services from the start of our winter timetable on 11 September 2016.

Once again, a number of these are the result of suggestions made by our passengers and drivers, as well as Brighton Area Buswatch and a number of local community groups.

Strike misery for Brighton and Hove commuters looks set to spread from the trains to the buses as Brighton and Hove Buses and Metrobus drivers vote to walk out in protest at “draconian” management.

Just spotted this on the changes...

We are always pleased to receive suggestions for improvements but as timetables have to be finalised some time in advance we would need to receive these by the end of November 2016 to be considered for the April 2017 Bus Times book.

Would be nice for the companies up here to include that. (depending on when the changes will happen)

I understand further Scania OmniDekkas will be migrating north to Go North East in early September, once delivery of the new Wright StreetDeck is fully complete.

Do you know how many more is needed to replace the lolynes/olympians?

Only asking because there's a few tridents/Olympians still in fleet for the time-being  due to other contracts so not sure what will replace what when those contracts are finished, along with how many will be left to replace.

I hope that makes sense haha

I've been looking for the original post I made about proposed cuts across Oxfordshire.
Had no joy - but here is an article, outlining the routes axed late last month.

Reading Buses

Reading took over operation of the Newbury Town network earlier this week. The fleet will eventually consist of Reading's fleet of Wright Streetlites along with 2 Enviro400s recently purchased from Go Goodwins. At present, only two vehicles are ready - Streetlite 161
[Image: 28881088434_04bc5f77f8_c.jpg]Reading Transport 161 (RE63 EOF) by James Cusworth, on Flickr
And Enviro400 1214 (DU62 FHK LC62 WYN)

Until the remaining vehicles are repainted, a number of loan vehicles are in use, including former First Optare Versa seed vehicle YJ62FLD

Reading have also retained the contract to provide services to the Vodafone Headquarters on Newbury Business Park. As part of this, the current Vodafone fleet of 7 Scania OmniCity (N230UBs) and 4 8.9 meters Alexander Dennis Enviro200s are to bre replaced by brand new vehicles. These will included Irizar i3 bodied Scanias, Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMCs (the first double deckers purchased new for the contract) and Optare Solo SRs (the first Solos purchased new by the company in 14 years).

Also joining the fleet are Gas-powered Optare Solos FX04 WFR/V, YK05 CBV and YM55 SVJ/K/L ex-Stagecoach Lincolnshire. They will be numbered 181-6 (exact numbers to be confirmed) and are undergoing refurbishment at Bus and Coach World in Blackburn before delivery to Reading in the Sliver Genetic Livery.

They've all arrived but two have yet to enter service.

Brighton & Hove have withdrawn the final eight Scania OmniDekkas due to cascade to Go North East as a consequence:

626  - YN04 GJY
627  - YN04 GJZ
628  - YN04 GKA
651  - YN05 GZL
653  - YN05 GZP
654  - YN05 GZR
664  - YN55 NFC
661  - YN55 NFE

I'm led to believe four will be collected by Go North East next Sunday, and a further four the Sunday after.

Compass bus are to take over the routes currently operated by theSussexBus from Saturday. Not sure if any buses are included in the deal, but this basically gives them back the network they sold to Countryliner around 10 years ago
