Most, if not all, of the services in Hexham are changing from this date. It relates to the opening of the new bus station in Hexham, as well as some other minor changes to improve reliability. From the same date; service 74 will no longer serve ALDI, and the route of the X84 service is revised between Corbridge and Hexham to operate via Stagshaw Road, A69 and A6079.

The opening of the bus station has been pushed back slightly, and will open on 30th November, two days after the service changes take place.

According to the DCC timetable, the X6 will serve Hartlepool Interchange on inbound journeys - making it the only commercial bus service to do so:

http://www.cartogold.co.uk/durham/pdf/Fo...GNE_X6.pdf

Also interesting that GNE's timetable gives departure time of xx:50 from Victoria Road though DDC's timetable lists the departure as xx:48.

Interchange stand 6 is the bus stop on Gateway Bridge outside the Morrisons petrol station, not the actual Interchange itself

Ah I see! That's quite a walk from the rest of the stops, let's hope passengers coming from the train station using the DDC timetable don't make the same mistake.

I have a feeling the top two will have something to do with Cobalt as the reliability on the 19 has been getting worse.

Although not related to these changes, the area around Smiths Dock will be opening soon. So expect further changes to services around Royal Quays.
I think it was Malarkey who brought it up on the forum a good while back, specifically the fenced off area around the North Shields Ferry Landing.

Wonder if the spare Mackem mover will be shifted up to allow the 309 / 310 to be split and no longer interwork bar early mornings, some early evenings and Sunday daytimes meaning a PVR increase to 17 (minus any scheduled 'red shed' workings). I know that the 3 minute layover on the 310 is proving to be tight at times and it would make sense to split them making sure that any problems on one route don't have a knock on effect on the other as seen with the Tall Ships etc. Also taking into account that Percy Main may well have extra capacity with the 9 being transferred to Deptford.

The average driving hours would be as follows taking into account the 5hr30m rule plus additional driving time driving the van to and from Percy Main to North Tyneside Hospital or New York if both were to be split.

309 (3hr 43mins + 20mins positioning time):
- New York: 00:09
- Newcastle: 00:43
- Newcastle: 00:50
- Blyth: 01:54
- Blyth: 02:05 (extra minute added either between Whitley Bay Cemetery and Town Centre or between Whitley Bay Town Centre and North Tyneside Hospital)
- Newcastle: 03:13
- Newcastle: 03:20
- New York: 03:52

310 (4hr 46mins + 10mins positioning time - only need to drive van up to Verne Road from depot nearby):
Verne Road: 00:15
Newcastle: 00:51
Newcastle: 00:57
North Shields: 01:43 (extra 4 minutes added between Newcastle and North Shields)
North Shields: 01:48
Newcastle: 02:36 (extra minute added throughout whole route)
Newcastle: 02:42
North Shields: 03:28
North Shields: 03:33
Newcastle: 04:21
Newcastle: 04:27
Verne Road: 05:01

Probables won't see a spare B9 moving, they could always have a Vyking though....

Most of the morning jorneys dont interwork at the minute. If they go into town as a 310 they leave as a 310

I mean the very early morning journeys that position up as a 310 to take the Blyth / Cobalt bound 309 service.

Sorry, unless I have missed something, there won't be any B9s surplus at Deptford as a result of any service changes for the foreseeable future.

By the sheet: it takes 10 minute journey time from holmside to Sunderland interchange for X7 and takes 7 minutes for the X6.

It looks like GNE have took part of it on a commercial bases, as Dan mentioned NEXUS were no longer funding it during the day, look's to be the same for on a night too.
