Quite liking this song by Gallery Circus at the minute. These guys currently reside in the Newcastle area with the video I've linked being filmed in the area, how many spots in the video can you recognise? https://youtu.be/WWR3uGlm2zc

Not a band I ever fancied seeing, however I did hear them once in the 80's.
Not sure where the gig was (SJP or GIS), but despite living a few miles away, the music was clearly audible.
Not sure noise pollution or db levels were measured as much then.
It was the same with the Rolling Stones and Tina Turner when they played on Tyneside.

Ed Sheeran recently returned from a long break away from making music, But he has returned with a few brilliant songs, My favourite is Castle on the Hill, Anyone else heard any of them yet?

Not my style of music normally but I cant stop listening to it at the minute!

I'd been listening to that tune for a bit now. However, I have gone off it as it is never off the radio and hasnt been since I shared it on here.
I'd never heard it on the radio previously.

Radio X by any chance? As they have driven me the same way with that song. Mind they seem to loop absolutely everything to the point you can't bare listen to them ever again... EVER!!!  Dodgy

I have seemingly dropped into a wormhole back to 2007/2008 mostly recently listening to indie from around that time from the likes of the Maccabees and anything else Radio X won't touch anymore.

Nah, don't think I've listened to xfm/radio x since the relaunch.

Stations playing the same tunes on loop does my head in.

I've been listening to the britpop era Shine compilation albums in the car and it's great hearing bands like the Longpigs, Gene and Shed 7 again as well as all the britpop big hitters.

Forgot all about those albums. Got one or two kicking around somewhere. May need to dig them out!
Thanks for reminding me such a thing existed.

If you haven't already, try 'indie disco' on Absolute 90's if you get a chance. Every Saturday evening if listening live.
