I must have admired the photo for a while. Never noticed the 'missing' stairs at all!

Not sure if I ever shared the tale of getting on a bus with a nearside staircase. It would have been the 38 (or certainly something of a similar ilk) on Pilgrim Street.
I was only a bairn at the time, but got all excited seeing a decker pull up, hopped on and couldn't for the life of me work out how to get upstairs.

Big Grin  its most unusual, and I can't really remember using them in service.
